Emlog #11 ~Recommend restaurants with kids~

Updated: Jul 31, 2021

Hi everyone!

Thanks for coming to our blog.

Now I have a 1 year old daughter, so today I’ll introduce 3 good restaurants I’ve ever been to with my child.

Contents

  1. KAISEKI MIZUKI

  2. KITAYAMA SOWAKA

  3. KIHARU Brasserie

1. KAISEKI MIZUKI -Japanese food-

◎Highchair

◎Diaper changing table

◎Kids menu

This restaurant is in RITZ-CARLTON Kyoto. When I stepped into the hotel, I was moved by this luxurious atmosphere. Not only the interior design but also the aroma was so nice.

Additionally, the staff were so heartful. MIZUKI is on the first floor of the basement, where you can find the restaurant.

I went to this restaurant at lunch time, and we ordered a bento box plan.

For children, we can choose from the kids menu.

Children below the age of 2 dine free of charge.

My daughter's lunch

These are lunchtime bento box courses. MIZUKI’s top chef likes to collect tableware to fit the dishes, so these tableware are top chef's private property.

So when you go to this restaurant, please check not only delicious dishes and tastes but also beautiful tableware.

×Diaper changing table

×Kids menu-They serve children’s tableware and rice for free.

I found this restaurant a half year ago, but I have already been there 3 times.

They don’t have a kids menu but the staff are so kind, they serve rice and some pickles at first for my child. And the menu is my ideal Japanese dish-WASHOKU-, so I’m very happy to eat with my child. If you like WASHOKU, I highly recommend this restaurant.

This restaurant is in downtown and the first floor of CROSS HOTEL KYOTO.

It was a very fashionable and artistic restaurant.

They don’t have a kids menu as well, but you can order an extra large serving or they have a side menu. In spite of the stylish, fashionable hotel’s restaurant and food’s taste being so nice, the lunch menu was at an affordable price.

Near the KIHARU Brasserie, it was a nice place for children which is called Rissei Garden. This building was originally an elementary school. There are some cafes, artificial lawn and mini library!

After or before lunch time, it’s a good place to step by :)

Address :310-2 Bizenjima-cho, Nakagyo-ku, Kyoto city, Kyoto

In August, I'll write about recommended cafes with kids. Please check it next time too!
